The Greek Theatre sits up Vermont Canyon in Griffith Park, and the venue itself makes the case for being driven. Its own visitor FAQ puts it plainly: patrons using taxis, limousines, rideshare or private cars may use the drop-off and pick-up located in Lot C. You are set down at Vermont and Commonwealth and you walk straight in.
The reason that matters is the way out rather than the way in. Alongside ordinary general parking the Greek sells a paid upgrade called Quick Park — and a venue does not sell people a faster exit unless the ordinary one is slow. Five thousand nine hundred people leave one canyon road at the same moment, and the last train from Vermont/Sunset goes at 11:55pm. If the encore runs long, driving yourself is the part of the night nobody enjoys.
Two practical notes. The venue sells parking only through its official partner and warns that passes bought on resale platforms cannot be verified at the gate. And fees are charged per space, so a stretch limousine that occupies two spaces is charged for two — one more reason to be dropped rather than parked. The season runs April 1 to October 31 each year, so summer weekend dates go early.
