Ventura County Wine Tasting in a Chauffeured Limo

The Ventura Wine Trail links the tasting rooms of downtown Ventura with the vineyards and wineries scattered through Ojai, Camarillo, the Santa Clara River Valley, and the foothills of Los Padres. American Luxury Limousine has been running private wine tours along this route since 2001 — door-to-door, all-day, with chauffeurs who know the back roads and which tasting rooms fit your group's pace.

What's on the trail

  • Downtown Ventura — concentrated walkable cluster of urban tasting rooms steps from the harbor.
  • Ojai & the Ojai Valley — boutique vineyards and a small handful of working wineries with mountain views.
  • Santa Clara River Valley — Fillmore and Santa Paula citrus-and-vine country, family-run estates.
  • Camarillo & the Pleasant Valley — easy hub if your group is staying in Westlake Village, Thousand Oaks, or coming up from LA.

How a tour day works

You tell us where you're starting (home, hotel, an Airbnb in Ojai), how many people, and the kind of day you want — relaxed and lazy, or three tasting rooms and a long lunch, or a bachelorette circuit with a stop at a winery that does private group flights. We build the itinerary around that, confirm reservations with each tasting room, and your chauffeur handles the driving and the pacing all day.

Vehicles for wine tours

Stretch limousines (8–12 passengers), SUV limousines (up to 14), party buses and limo buses (up to 40+). All vehicles climate-controlled with cooler space for sparkling and rosé.

Service area

Pickups throughout Ventura County (Ventura, Oxnard, Camarillo, Thousand Oaks, Westlake Village, Ojai, Fillmore, Simi Valley) and connecting from Los Angeles County (Calabasas, Woodland Hills, Sherman Oaks, Pasadena, Beverly Hills, Malibu, Hollywood) and Santa Barbara County.

More ways to tour: browse all our wine tours, head south for Malibu wine country or north to the Santa Ynez Valley, and put groups of ten or more in a limo bus so the whole party rides together.

The Home-County Advantage

The Ventura wine trail is the after-work wine country: urban tasting rooms minutes apart, no mountain pass, and pickup times that work on a weeknight. It is our home county — dispatch is up the road — so short-notice evenings and two-hour tasting hops are easy in a way destination regions are not. Make it a progressive evening: two or three tasting rooms, dinner downtown, and the ride home built in.

Couples ride a sedan; friend groups take a stretch or the 12-passenger Sprinter party van. Wine tours start at $175/hour with hourly minimums — the trail’s short hops make it the most affordable wine evening on the list.
